MORE ABOUT ANNIE & BRENDA:
Annie and Brenda have gained a bit of a reputation for their hearty laughter and fun workshops they teach together at Blue Rock Station. Together they love to dream up menus to prepare and have been teaching a class with women survivors of violence on fast healthy food – making salsas, canning pickles, making ice cream and more. Now they are moving on to teach more about green living topics they know well.
Annie says she isn’t a domestic engineer but she likes things to be naturally clean. Besides cooking, and sometimes cleaning, Annie served as the project manager and contractor for the Earthship at BRS, and she teaches gardening, natural animal health and a variety of other topics.
Brenda is a shepherdess with her own business, Log Cabin Weaving, located near Zanesville Ohio.
She is a weaver first and foremost. She enjoys raising sheep, spinning her own sheep’s wool, plus loves to read cookbooks and has been cooking for Blue Rock Station for two years. Brenda loves to read cookbooks and has been cooking for Blue Rock Station for two years.
