The Llamas of Blue Rock Station

One of the great joys of living the "sustainable" lifestyle is dealing with critters on a daily basis.   And llamas are a terrific, elegant, gentle animal that treads lightly upon this earth.

Come visit the llamas - JoJo, Baxter, Rita , Michelle and our newest arrival - Sgt Pepper.  Perhaps (if your timing is right) you could take one for a little walk around the gardens.

Some llama related products or events available from Blue Rock Station:

If you are interested in setting up a trek, give us a call at (740)674-4300 or send us an e-mail at Annie@bluerockstation.com

Other web sites that will give you a bit more about this...

  • Hillcrest Llama Farm (owned by Bob & Barb Johnson - birthplace of Baxter and JoJo)
  • LlamaOrg (sponsored by the Llama Lifestyle Marketing Association) information primarily geared for families and first-time llama owners.
  • The Llama Directory offers information resources for those interested in owning llamas or using their fibers for spinning and textiles. This site also aims to connect buyers and sellers of llamas, alpacas, their fibers, and related goods and services.
