Getting Rid of the Vet:  The Care & Feeding of Healthy Animals – dogs, cats, & farm critters

June 6th - 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

It amazes me how long it took me to finally get it through my head that pets can benefit from natural health practices the same as humans.

Family pets and farm animals do not just take care of themselves.  If they are going to maintain their health, without lots of shots and interventions, human beings need to know some simple steps and procedures that will enable a family pet or farm animal to be healthy with very little help.

At the workshop Annie will share her strategies basic animal health, and how to address individual needs through minerals and other food strategies.  She’ll share her philosophies about partnering with animals, and then show you how to create simple strategies that can enhance the health of your family pets and farm animals.

Learn:

  • Basic nutrition:  raw food vs. commercial food
  • Simple remedies for everyday problems
  • How to use probiotics effectively – even grow your own
  • Strategies for using apple cider vinegar with goats and llamas

Come prepared for a fun time, to learn a few interesting tidbits about life with the critters at Blue Rock Station.    This is an afternoon of sharing, experiencing, and, if we’re lucky hanging out with some of the newborn kids that will have been born the month before the workshop.

Reservations are a must to avoid disappointment.   Price $45 includes high tea Blue Rock Station style

This workshop also includes a tour of Blue Rock Station, as well as high tea (as is fitting when civilized folks sit around discussing how best to care for their pets).

Given less than a day to live by the vet - Chica and Reeny arrive at Blue Rock Station.  They had mange, ringworm,  a severe respiratory infection, malnurished and an allergic reaction to antibiotics.
A month later, using only natural remedies, they are happy and healthy (and no, they did not die as predicted).  A year later and they are still thriving.
Rosie arrived at Blue Rock Station nearly starved to death.  She had been beated repeatedly, her jaw was broken and her hip was dislocated.  Today she works as our official ambassador and part time cat babysitter.

wp35ebdc84.gif "Hello Annie,
The immune booster mixture -- thank you very much! -- actually seems to be working. Very impressive.

My oldest cat, Butterscotch, had troubles with urinary tract infections in early life and is now about 14 and having problems with her back legs. After the first dose of that mixture on her food, she perked up. Right now she is sitting on my desk while I type, which she hasn't done in a couple years. I did have to pick her up and put her
here, but she stayed and is visiting. Awfully heart-warming -- thank you!

Thanks so much for the wonderful information and the gift of the immune
booster mixture -- I very much appreciate your kindness.”
