Rare Breed Chickens - 3 weeks old
During the next week the chicks pretty much just grew bigger. It is actually amazing to see just how quickly they develop.
During this week, one of the chicks died. She showed no signs of stress, just decided to lay down and die. Apparently this is not too unusual. We removed her and none of the others seemed affected (no cold going around or anything).
As the time progressed, we moved the heat lamp higher as they seemed to need the warmth less.
